6. Shenpu – waterfall at Meili, the water from immortal

This waterfall is a place the prayers must arrive at. The water comes from the melting of the snow on Meili mountain. So the prayers believe that the water is from immortal. When they arrive at the waterfall, they will pour a bottle of the immortal water and take it home. They believe it’s magic water that can cure any disease. I poured a bottle, but on the way back to Yubeng I drank the whole bottle because we were so thirsty.
We didn’t see the strong waterfall due to the season. It is quite strong in the rainy season, such like August. But it is very dangerous to go there at rainy season due to the frequent snowslip. The date we arrived there is 3rd April. One month later, an accident happended at the same place that we’d gone cross. A big snowslip suddenly happened, two people were killed and the others were injured. The snowslip doesn’t happen quite often, but, unfortunately…
